Coinciding with 2009 as the European Year for Creativity and Innovation, Cooperation 2.0 2009 proposes as its central theme:

‘Innovation in ICT for Human Development’

The central topic of Innovation will be treated on its own and through three associated thematic axis, namely:

•  ICT and Quality in Development Cooperation;
• ICT and Mobility for Development.
• Development Cooperation Networks.

The central topic and the thematic axis will be organized around Plenary Addresses and Round Tables.

In addition will continuity will be given to the debate and initiatives wich have arisen for the promotion, development and adaptation of the use of ICT in policies, programs and projects of development cooperation in order to eradicate the digital divide and improve the practices of development cooperation.
